嫁の妊娠58 ～レンタルＤＶＤあるある～

昨日はボクの仕事が忙しく、１時ごろに帰ったので嫁は寝ていた。

つまり、ほとんど話をしていない。

このほとんど、というのは、嫁は妊娠５ヶ月のころから、夜中に必ず一回起きる。

トイレに行き、水を飲むためだ。

夜中の３時とか４時が多い。

その起きてきたときにボクが起きていると、寝ぼけてボソボソと何かを話しかけてくる。

寝ぼけているのは確かだが、寝ぼけている演技をしているのも確かで、２８歳ぐらいまでのボクなら確実に、寝ぼけている演技を指摘している。

「寝ぼけてるフリしてるやん」と。

でも、もうそんなことはしない。ボクは大人。演技に付き合い、『寝ぼけているのが可愛いなぁ』の演技で返す。それが大人だ。

そんなこんなで、最近嫁は家でのんびりしている時間が多くなったので、昨日の帰り道でレンタルＤＶＤを借りに行った。

ボクの家の近くオＴＳＵＴＡＹＡでは、５枚で１０００円のＤＶＤが借りられる。

基本的に洋画はよっぽど有名なモノしか観ないので、必然的に邦画かアニメになる。

実はこの時間、ボクは嫌いじゃない。

新作も準新作も旧作の中から、新しい発見ができる。

知っているモノから知らないモノまで、ゆっくりと選ぶ。

面白いのが、全然知らなかった作品にも、結構な有名俳優さんたちが出演している発見。

映画というのは、お金があるかないか、如実に表れる部分がある。

それは広告費。

凝った公式サイトを作り、テレビなどの各映像メディアでＣＭを打ち、駅にデカいポスターを張り、披露試写会などを開く。

これ全て、映画の制作費の中に含まれる広告費で補われる。

大きなテレビ局や新聞社、大企業がスポンサーについていると広告費に億単位のお金が使えることもある。

一応この業界にいて、その中でもドラマや映画よりの位置にいる。

そんなボクが知らないということは、ほとんど広告を打っていない、、、いや、打てていないのだろう。

今はツイッターやフェイスブックなどでほぼ無料で告知ができると思われがちだが、この飽和状態のネットではよっぽどセンセーショナルなモノじゃないと目を引かないのが現状。

告知はそう簡単なことではない。

必然的に、出演者のギャラも相当低いと推測できる。

そんな作品に大物のちゃんと芝居ができる俳優さんや女優さんが出演する判断材料としては、脚本が主を占める。

よっぽど仲のいい映画監督が頼む場合もあるが、そんな監督ならある程度は有名だろうから業界では知られているはず。

つまり、選ぶ基準の多くが脚本にあるとするなら、ボクも物書きの端くれで頑張れる勇気が沸く。

幾つかはボクが脚本で関わった作品もＤＶＤになってはいるが、納得できるものはまだ書けていない。

あ、ただ、昨日借りた中で、『僕だけがいない街』を選んだ。

今日、テレビで放送することを知った。
