嫁の妊娠53 ～姪っ子の成長～

嫁が里帰り出産で里帰るまで１ヶ月余り。

そろそろ色々と準備していかないと１ヶ月なんてすぐに過ぎてしまい、またいつも通り、「もう、だから言ったじゃん！　準備が遅いんだよ！」とキレられるハメになる。

ボクができることはなんとなく意識しながら初めて行こう。

嫁は三女の長女で、３人共結婚していて、次女には子供がいる。

ボクらにとっては姪っ子に当たる。

現在４歳。今年の１２月で５歳になる。

そんな姪っ子は、少し前からバレエを習い始めた。

以前にも書いたかもしれないが、姪っ子の通う幼稚園に定期的にバレエの先生が訪れ、出張レッスンなるものを開催している。

そこで体験レッスンをして、イイ感じなら実際に習いに行くか、出張レッスンのときに幼稚園の体育館でレッスンを受けられる。

それは数ヶ月前に聞いていて、体験レッスンの風景も動画で見せてもらっていた。

基礎練習なのだろう、姪っ子は他の生徒たちと並んで嬉しそうにスキップの練習をしていた。

そして大人の話になるが、週に１回のレッスンで、月謝は５０００円。まぁ、べらぼうに高いわけではない。

次女夫婦は、我が子が楽しいのならいいかな、と思っていたらしいのだが、追加オプションを聞いて驚いたとのこと。

２年に一度、近くの公民館のような会場を貸し切って発表会をするのだが、なんと、その費用が７００００円。

誤字ではないので、もう一度書く。７００００円。

２年に一度なので、毎月３０００円ほどを貯めていけば払えなくもないが、となると結果、月謝は８０００円ということになる。８０００円のバレエ教室となると、まぁまぁ高い。いや、かなり高い。

発表会には一応、自由参加とのことだが、２年もレッスンに通って、友達は発表会を目指して頑張っているのに、我が子だけ出ないなんてかわいそうすぎる。

ので、父親の会社が倒産したとか、よっぽどの理由がない限り、通っている生徒は全員が発表会に出るという。

いやらしい商売の仕方だとは思うが、それでもレッスンに通って発表会にも参加する子がいる。

とはいえ、以前その話を聞いたときは、次女夫婦はまだ通わせるかを迷っている状況だった。

すると昨日、嫁がスマホをボクに見せてきた。

動画の再生マークが映っていて、押せ、とのこと。

押してみると、姪っ子が登場した。

何が始まるのかと見ていると、左足を右足の少し前に出し、指先を伸ばした両腕を下から後ろに挙げてお辞儀をし、「おつかれさまでした」と言った。

バレエレッスンでの終わりの挨拶なのだと言う。

わかりやすく言うと、芸人の永野さんのネタのときの格好とそっくり。

ボクは少し感動した。

生まれた２日後に初めて見た姪っ子は、まだ目も開いていなかった。

あんな小さい小さい女の子だったのに、永野さんみたいなポーズがしっかりできている。

もうすぐ産まれてくるボクの我が子も性別は女の子が有力。

姪っ子のように育っていくのかと思うと、また楽しみが増えた。

ただ、バレエ教室には通わせないでおこうと思った。

あ、そうそう、西武新宿駅近くにキャプテンアメリカがいた。

悪者が来たのだろうか。
