嫁の妊娠86 ～パパママ教室～

嫁は今日から３２週目に入った。

もう出産できる３７週まで５週間。いよいよここまで来た。これからも今まで通りに順調に進んでほしい。

そんな中、今日はボクの住んでいる区の妊婦が受けることのできるパパママ教室に行って来た。

２０組ぐらいの夫婦がいた。

主にお父さんになるパパへの自覚を促すＶＴＲや赤ちゃんの入浴方法、お産や育児についてのお話など、結果２時間３０分の長丁場の教室。

最初は、恐らく２０年ぐらい前にＯＡされた〈ＮＨＫスペシャル〉のＶＴＲ。

お腹の中の赤ちゃんにも外からのお父さんの声がちゃんと聞こえている、というのを、東大の教授や学者の分析により証明してくれた。

そんなことはネットの情報でもうわかっている。

その他には、１歳ほどの子供を使っての実験。

怖い話の絵本はお父さんの声のほうが聞き入り、可愛い内容の絵本はお母さんの声のほうが聞き入るという。

絵本を聞いている赤ちゃんの、絵本に見入っている顔を映して、ナレーションでは「このように、お父さんの声では怖い絵本に見入っています」と言っているのだが、ほんの少しの間なので、そんなものは編集で何とでもできる。

この世界にいるからわかるが、かなりの強引さが目立つ編集だった。

まぁ、２０年ぐらい前ならインターネットも普及していないし、こんな編集でも成立したんだなぁ、と思った。

ＶＴＲを見たあとは４つのグループに分かれ、赤ちゃんの入浴〈沐浴〉の方法を教わり、順番にやってみる。

それが終わると、妊娠後期の妊婦のお腹の重さと同じ１０キロのお腹を前に背負わされた。

確かに重いが、肩からかけるので、妊婦の苦労とはだいぶ違うな、と思った。

そして最後に、出産直前のマッサージ方法やマタニティーブルーのケアの話などを聞いたのだが、なぜか、その中に〈愛情の推移〉という表を見せられた。

なんでも、子供が生まれると、夫から妻への愛情が徐々に上がっていくと言い、妻から夫への愛情が下がっていくと言う。

最後に先生が言ったのが、

「というわけで、旦那さんの頑張りで、どれだけそれを緩やかにできるかがかかっています」

と言った。

結局、妻からの愛情が下がっていくのは仕方ない、ということらしい。

なぜ、今ここでそれを言う？
