嫁の出産139 ～女子が女性になりお母さんへ～

娘は無事に４ヶ月を越え、４ヶ月検診では健康優良児だとまで言われた。

丸々と太り、身長も高く、とにかく全てが平均の上をいっている。

そんな中、嫁は娘を連れて色々と出かけている。

なんでも、ウチの住んでいる区には『子育て応援券』というものがあるらしく、ベビーマッサージや嫁の整体や子育て教室など、通常は料金がかかるそれらをタダで通えるというもの。

仕事をしているときは家で毎日ゆっくりできるなんて夢みたい、なんて言っていたが、赤ちゃんとボクとしか話さない日はそんなに長くは続けられない。

実はボクは少し心配していた。

嫁は、多少出不精なところがあって、好きな友達と会うときなど楽しいときは無理しても行くのだが、面倒臭くなるとアレコレ理由をつけて出ようとしない。

そんな嫁が育児休暇に入ったら、とことんまで娘と家に引きこもるんじゃないかと。

しかし――あまり隣近所や、それこそママ友なんて面倒なだけだと言っていた嫁が、今では近くに住む同じ時期に産まれた赤ちゃんのママたちとヤンヤヤンヤとランチに行ったりしている。

そうか、こうして女子は女性になり、お母さんになっていくんだな。
